There are two levels in the Finnish National Goalball League:
SM-Serie (the highest level);
1-Division.
There are a regular season (4 – 5 stages) and the final stage during the season. The season begins on October – November and the final stage is usually played on April – May.
Stages on the regular season are organized by clubs and the final stage is organized by the Finnis Paralympic Committee.
On season 2019 – 2020 there was only regular season played in the league. The final stage of the season was cancelled due the corona pandemic.
The winner of the regular season 2019 – 2020 in the SM-Serie was Old Power and O.P. Juniors in the 1-Division.
There are four participating clubs in SM-Serie on season 2020 – 2021 and six participating clubs in 1-Division.
